DJ Tablú Afroloo - Gabriel Riquelme

when it comes to afrolatin- and caribbean culture, dance and music, you will find a real nerd in Tablú Riquelme.
Tablú spins officially since 1999 his records at various parties such as funks, soul and disco nights in cologne and since 2001 he has residencies on different latino- and salsa parties as well.
He started teaching salsa and mambo with his sound system "La Clave" in 2002, while went further with his University career in Latin American Studies to add a cultural and really lovely aspect of this topic.

From 2008-2010, during his times as scientific assistant at the Latin-American History Department of the Cologne University, where he was researching about afrocaribbean culture and music, Tablú was also host of the afrolatin webradio & culture show "cocinando con clave" broadcasting on soulsender.de.

In 2010, Tablú founded with three friends the Cologne/Germany based Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld and is working there till today as booker and producer. Furthermore, he is the co-promoter and resident dj of Radio Sabor one of Germany's biggest latin parties, as well as resident dj at Mambo Madness, Colognes no. 1 mambo and on2 night.
