A bit more about our new home:

The London Irish Centre is a versatile, modern and welcoming venue situated on a tranquil, leafy corner of Camden Square only moments away from the buzzing Camden Centre, with loads of free secure parking around the square on the weekends. It’s been a hub of activity since 1954 and now home to ‘I LIKE IT LIKE THAT’s salsa musical journeys.

A quality surround sound and room capacity of up to 450 guests, the McNamara Suite is the center’s hidden gem, a beautiful large event space boasting 13ft high ceilings, no pillars, clear lines of sight, 450 sq meters of space with integrated wooden dancefloor area with possibility for expansion, as well as large windows, allowing lots of natural daylight for our Matinee socials. This stunning room is also fully air-conditioned and has state-of-the-art audio visual capabilities.

Finally, at the heart of the London Irish Centre is the Hub bar and reception area, providing the warm welcome you would expect from any Irish venue. Ideal to unwind and have a drink / coffee or even a snack. Being the London Irish Centre there is also the largest selection of Irish Whiskeys and of course, the best Guinness in town.

The music behind our DJs:

CyCy

Cyrine aka Dj Cycy joined the new wave of parisian Djs. She was educated to the subtleties of latin sounds and mixing by Dj Gabriel during O'Sullivans salsa nights, where she became co-organiser and resident Dj.

Also a confirmed dancer, she has a great musical sensitivity. Cycy juggles with a swinging music full of diversity, always in search for the perfect sound.

She plays salsa in every style: Salsa Classica, salsa dura, guaguanco, son, salsa romantica, latin Jazz, chacha.

Julian Summers

Julian first found salsa in the year 2000 and became addicted to the music and the dance.

His love for salsa music has found him behind the DJ decks where he now shares his passion and knowledge to keep the dance floor kicking.

Julian is a resident DJ for London based Mambo City, playing at their regular club nights, weekenders and renowned 5*Congress, and is in huge demand to guest DJ at salsa events, nationally and internationally including premier events in London and Midlands.

Julian is known for playing danceable classic salsa sounds broken up with a generous smattering of Latin Jazz, Bachata and Cha Cha Cha.
