The music behind our DJs:

Paolo Caonimaori

A salsa and afro-latin enthusiast since 2005. Mostly interested in experimental, psychedelic and obscure sounds of latin music, oriented in the Peruvian and central american music scene. Paolo is also looking for versions of classic salsa songs which have a different twist! He has been collecting latin vinyl records for the last 7 years.

He has DJed in some of the most popular salsa parties in Athens. He also holds his own "family" party every Thursday and a radio show every Monday night. He follows the latest salsa discography and trends, constantly giving new and different musical stimulus to the dancers and listeners by fitting it into and adapting to their vibes. Moreover, he has performed guest DJ sets on radio shows in Greek radio stations, as well as on national and international web radios.

Paolo is a strong believer in the power of music and its effect on the psychology of a mass.

"There is an imperative need to keep a balance between the new and the old, the known and the not-known, swinging through familiar sounds. By doing so, a smooth and concrete (musical) evolution can be achieved through social dancing, while having a good time!!"
