More flavour, more mix and more international dj narratives for the UK decks, with a weekend of fiery salsa quality on vinyl with heat and passion to take your mind away from the rainy days ;-) two days filled with rare, classic and beloved tunes dropped by top quality djs, international, diverse and talented; the passionate Dj Enzo “Mafia del Guaguanco (MDG)”, straight from Italy, and our talented host, Dj Erick the Saint.
The djs will keep the musical narrative flowing through your veins & dancing feet throughout the weekend! And don’t forget the artists on the dance floor who will teach, perform and join the dancing madness. 
I LIKE IT LIKE THAT will open autumn with a bang, burning the floor with top tunes & cracking flavour; salsa classica, dura, guarancha, son montuno, cha cha, romantica, gauguanco, mambo, all ‘flavours’ welcome under the djs’ narrative :-)

The music behind our DJs:

Enzo "Mafia del Guaguanco" (MDG)

Lucchese Vincenzo, also known as ‘Enzo MDG’ was born in Milan in 1980. When he was a teenager he got into the music world of djing through his passion for disco music. A passionate music collector, Vincenzo started his experience in the Latin American scene as a dancer in 2003. After multiple trips to New York and San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2005, he started pursuing his  career as a latin DJ and started playing in many famous clubs and events across Italy.

Since 2010 he was the founder and creator of the great ’Milano Baila Guaguanco’ event which is dedicated to the lovers of salsa and tropical rhythms on vinyl.

Dj Erick the Saint

Erick Lopez known as DJ Erick The Saint, has established himself as one of the top Salsa DJs in the UK. Brought up in the Dominican Republic he was enthused from an early age into Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and other latin music styles, a passion he brought with him when he crossed the Atlantic. 
He started collecting music since his teens and DJ-ed in house parties before moving to bars and larger events in the Dominican Republic. Since moving to the UK in 2001, he immediately took on the London Salsa scene, Dj-ing in popular Latin venues and becoming a favourite resident DJ; a privilege he is honoured to continue today for many UK events (El Grande, Salsateca, Ola Latina). 
Erick has over 17 years Dj-ing under his belt, travelling around the UK and Europe to play in well-established venues and festivals as well as close to two decades of collecting music. 
In the last 4 years he has also moved on to hosting his own salsa and latin urban nights. He is the soul and creator of ‘I like it like that, salsa dura on vinyl’
