Been waiting for 3 months with great anticipation for the return of this fine gala night! Autumn and ILILT vol.31 comes with mastery on the groove, maestro of salsa, collector and veteran Dj Mulato, straight from Paris alongside our talented host Dj Erick the Saint. He graced the ILILT decks back in 2018 for our vol.20 Anniversary and truly rocked the floor with Dj Nilson. So happy to get him back again 4 years later!
Fine flavour and pure magic from speakers to the dancefloor, the night will capture the dancer’s heart.
This dynamic Dj duo will burn the floor with top tunes & cracking flavour; salsa classica, dura, romantica, guaracha, son montuno, cha cha, gauguanco, mambo, all ‘flavours’ welcome under the djs’ narrative :-)
Premium salsa in premium surround sound in a beautiful, large, art deco town hall with fantastic wooden dance floor for your dancing pleasure. Relaxed, welcoming, quality venue with a separate bar area with cheap drinks and cloakroom, in the heart of Brixton high street and tube (Victoria Line) only minutes away.
The music behind the Djs:
Dj Mulato
Dj Mulato, Paris, France, a renowned Dj, great music/vinyl collector and one of the first organisers of vinyl-only parties in Europe, SAL-SOUNDS 70’s, a high-quality well-established event of awesome music and great atmosphere that cannot be missed when you are visiting Paris! He will for sure bring a unique feel and stun us with his music selection.
Dj Erick the Saint
Brought up in the Dominican Republic, Erick started collecting music since his teens and DJ-ed in house parties before moving to bars and larger events. Since moving to the UK in 2001, he immediately took on the London Salsa scene, Dj-ing in popular Latin venues and becoming a resident DJ in many established salsa venues.
In the last 8 years he has moved on to hosting his own salsa events, being the soul and creator of ‘I like it like that, salsa dura on vinyl’ events.
